Vitabalans Ltd is a Finnish, privately owned pharmaceutical company founded in 1980. Company's turnover is approx. 20 millions EUR.
 

Our production and extensive product lines cover prescription and OTC medicines and food supplements. All the facilities and production, research and product development, registration and marketing are located in Hämeenlinna, 100 km from Helsinki to north.
Our three separate production plants allow the manufacturing of medicines, food supplements and probiotic products. Our competence and production facilities cover not only tablet manufacturing but also enable manufacturing of powders, creams, and solutions.

Currently we employ 160 persons including 50 persons working in our subsidiaries in export countries. Our staff consists of pharmaceutical experts, chemists, doctors, laboratory technicians as well as specialty trained staff.

Vitabalans Ltd started foreign export in 1995. In 15 years, we have expanded on the European market, and  have subsidiaries in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Germany.
