The Toagosei Group has been advancing management reforms with the objective of "utilizing the strength and resources of the entire Toagosei Group to optimize business opportunities." Presently, a system has been established in which each company in the group promotes its business based on the concept of this objective. I am fully committed to further strengthening this system, as well as to advancing all of Toagosei Group. Our goal is to achieve "a sustainable growing business by continually producing high performance products and creating new, profitable businesses." The specific plans include the new mid-term management plan, "ALL TOA 2010," which has been implemented this year. We will accelerate the growth of the Toagosei Group, increasing our profitability. The Toagosei Group has undergone management reforms and has changed its business structure. In particular, it has strengthened management operations through consolidation. We will put forth efforts as one to fulfill the new mid-term management plan, "ALL TOA 2010," which was implemented this year. The foci of this plan are to further advance the business of Toagosei Group by building on its achievements and to positively contribute to society. Our goal under our former president was achieving "a company that is like a small but brilliantly sparkling diamond." We strive to be a diamond whose "crystals" continue to grow and which we will further polish. We aim for a corporate group that has the presence of a radiantly shining company in the chemical industry.
