ARICI Experimental Factory
Anhui Research Institute of Chemical Industry (ARICI) was founded in 1962 through merger of the former Anhui Chemical Institute Chinese Academy of Science and Anhui Chemical Engineering Research & Design Institute. In March 2003, ARICI was acquired by Anhui Petrochemical Group and became its R&D subsidiary. Currently ARICI occupies a total area of 122,000 square meters, including 75,000 square meters of operation area and 47,000 square meters of staffing area.
ARICI is composed of an array of sub-entities, indicated as follows. Institutes, subordinated and affiliated: Chlorination Engineering Technology Center, Fine Chemical Research Institute, Agrochemical Research Institute, Environmental Science Research Institute, Hazadous Chemical Safety Assessment & Chemical Engineeering Center, Arochemcial Formulation Engineering Center, Anhui Chemical Industry Research & Development Center, Anhui Chemical Industry Pilot Lab, Anhui Chemical Industry Information Center, Anhui Chemical Products Inspection & Supervision Center, Anhui Petrochemical Environmental Protection Monitoring Center. Sole-proprietary enterprises: ARICI Experimental Factory, Anhui Jinli Agrochemical Co., Ltd., ARICI Service Company. Holding enterprises: Anhui Kelihua Chemical Co., Ltd., Anhui Zhongbang Bioengineering Co., Ltd.
ARICI's services are focused on all facets of R&D and production continuum -- from reaction outline through plant scale-up to customer end-use, including custom synthesis, process development, toll manufacture, technology consultancy/transfer and more.
ARICI's strong technological capability is found in the following fields: OXADIAZON, IMIDACLORID, ACETAMIRID, THIODICARB, METRIBUZIN, NICOSVLFURON, DIFENOCONAZOLE, inorganic chemical, flame retarding material, environmental impact assessment, hazardous chemical safety analysis, quality control, analysis methodology and standard, information analysis. Particularly ARICI's specialty are recognized industry-wide in agrochemical synthesis and formulation, liquid-phase polymer chlorination, synthetic fragrance, flame retarding material and isocyanurate.
