Zhejiang Huafang Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. (formerly Zhejiang Huangyan Sifang Chemical Plant), is a joint-stock enterprise founded in Sept. 1993, and we renamed as Zhejiang Huafang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in November, 2007. We got the pharmaceutical production license in November, 2009. Headquarted in Huangyan Economic Development Park in Zhejiang province, Huafang has the following two subsidiaries: Chengdu Entry Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Shandong Changyi Sifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. With an investment of RMB 160 million, Shandong Changyi Sifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was founded in Yanhai Economic Development Park in the north of Changyi city of Shandong province in 2005. There are 400 employees in Huafang now, 35% of them are engineers and technicians. They cover several technical levels (senior, medium and primary) and work in different positions of our company such as Pharmaceutical, engineering, research, economic, business and political work, etc. 
       
       As a High- and New-tech Enterprise of China, Huafang boasts perfect quality, safety and environmental protection system as well as GMP-standard QA system to ensure the quality of products. Huafang was certificated to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS1800118001 in 2008. We are armed with 1000t/day sewage treatment station and 700,000m3/day waste gas treatment station. Therefore, we have the good abilities to handle all wastes form daily production, ensure all equipment work well and discharges meet the standards. 
       
       We aim to get development by adopting the leading technology, and invest big money in the research and development of new products and technologies every year. Moreover, we establish long-term cooperative relationships with Sichuan Antibiotic Research Institute, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Lanzhou University and Zhejiang University of Technology. We have built the joint laboratories and innovative medicines research institutes with Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Sinopharm Group Sichuan Antibiotic Research Institute. 
       
       In 2006, our Sifang Chemical Synthesis of Medicine Research Institute (founded in 2001) was appraised as "Zhejiang Province High-tech Research & Development Center". At present, this center has 71 researchers and technicians including 12 professors, 3 doctors,5 masters and over 40 Bachelors. Huafang was approved as the key practice base of China for vocational schools in 2004. The combination of manufacturer, university and research has laid a solid basis for the rapid and sustainable development of Huafang. At present, we have one technology innovation fund project of China, two national torch projects, one key new product of China and nine high-tech products of Zhejiang province, six high-tech products of city. And our Cleaner Production and Industrialization Technologies of AE-activated ester was listed as State Level Technological Innovation Fund Project and State Torch Plan project; The Industrialization of cefdinir Activated Ester was listed as Y State Torch Plan Project; aztreonam (new synthesis technology) was listed as Key New Product of China; another nine products such as AE-activated ester, Cefcapene side chain acid and tolnaftate were appraised as Provincial Level High- and New-tech Products of Zhejiang province. 
       
       Huafang mainly produces APIs and intermediates. Up to now, we have developed a Huafang-featured product structure, which is consisted of Cephalosporin antibiotic drugs, hypnotic and sedative drugs and intermediates, antiallergic agents and intermediates, and antifungal medicines and intermediates, etc. Based on these products, we are working hard to develop depth-process products, relative serial products and make industrial production for them. At present, we annually produce 1,00 tons of drugs, including cephalo-type APIs (side chain and mother nucleus), hypnotic and sedative drugs (Eszopiclone and intermediates), antiallergic agent(levocetirizine and intermediates), antifungal(itraconazole and tolnaftate and intermediates) etc., which are not only well received in China, but also exported to Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea.
