Sundow Polymers Co. Ltd is a high-tech chemical company that is focused on R&D, manufacturing and marketing of chlorinated polymers. It is one of the industrial pioneers and leaders of Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) and Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) in China. It has been in the R&D of chlorinated polymers business over 13 years.
Sundow Polymers is located in the Yellow River delta development zone in the Shangdong Province. It has two manufacturing facilities with over 150 acres. Currently it has three main product series with an annual capacity as follows: 30, 000 metric tons (MT) of CPE; 8, 000MT of CPVC, and 4, 500MT of dimethyl-5-sulfoisophthalate sodium salt (DMSIP).
The company has planned to expand its CPE manufacturing capacity. The first phase of expansion has already completed in March 2011. The second phase of expansion will be on the way soon after the first phase expansion and is expected to be completed in the end of 2011 . It will reach a total annual capacity of 50, 000MT when the second phase expansion is completed.
