Profile: Indspec Chemical Corp. specializes in the manufacture of resorcinol, resorcinol-based resins and other resorcinol derivatives. We also produce selected grades of sodium sulfite and sodium sulfate. Our beta resorcylic acid is a starting material, which is used for producing benzophenone UV light stabilizers, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, reprographic chemicals, cosmetic preparations, and fine organic chemicals. Our Penacolite® resin is a resorcinol-formaldehyde condensation product used as adhesion promotors in tires and mechanical rubber products.
