Our Guar gums are obtained from soluble plant mucilage obtained from the ground endosperms. The gum is yellow-white in color, in powder form, and is dispersible in hot or cold water. It has 5-8 times the thickening power of starch. These gums are used in paper coating, pharmaceuticals, and as binder in tablet mixtures. Our DL Malic acid is white, odorless, free flowing granular organic acid. The malic acid is also known as apple acid, and it occurs naturally in all fruits and vegetables. It is used as an antiseptic and acidulant.
