It is suitable for outdoor products and broadly used in PVC profiles, sheets, boards, pipes and pipe fitting. maleic anhydride is a white needle-like briquette/flaky crystalline with irritant odor; it is sour, inflammable & sublimating. It can be freely dissolved in water to form maleic acid. It has a specific density of 1.480 and a melting point of 52.85° & a boiling point of 202°. It is mainly used in the production of unsaturated polyester resins. It is also used in coating, pharmaceutical, agricultural insecticide, additives of oil products & plastics and surfactants.
