Oxalic acid is a colorless, crystalline, toxic organic compound belonging to the family of carboxylic acids. It is used as a purifying agent in pharmaceutical industry. Carboxyl methyl cellulose is a white powder, soluble in high polymer cellulose ether. It is mainly used in petroleum, chemical, tobacco, papermaking, medicine, food, building material and in detergent.
