Dongying Guofeng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., established in June 2000, is China’s first high-tech business producing Guofeng brand solid cationic etherification agent-EPTAC (2, 3-epoxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), liquid cationic etherification agent-CHPTAC (3-Chloro-2-hydroxypropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride) and dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride-DMDAAC. Besides of its original annual production capacity of 500 tons EPTAC and 3,000 tons CHPTAC, now the company has finished the construction of another project of 1,000 tons EPTAC per year. Under the tremendous support of Shengli Oilfield Technology Center, the company has taken the lead in successfully developing chlorohydroxypropytrimethyl ammonium chloride. Furthermore, the company realized technological industrialization in 2001, fully owned the independent intellectual property rights, and became a leader in the field of cationic etherifying agents in China. The company has been acquired and reorganized by Dongying Wanqing Chemical Co., Ltd. and is expected to produce more economic benefit.
